Although the main reason for the employee to work for any organization is money, work content and work environment has a significant role. Apparently, the employee can opt for better wages and benefits elsewhere. However, if you look in the mirror, there is a garage first start, he decided to look for alternatives outside. In most cases it is due to the attitude of the head or something similar event, which caused us to do so. Let us examine in this article.
A popular saying is "money makes the mare go." I wonder if this saying says it all. I think silver is a great thing, but not everything that relates to employees, the money can really attract and retain (till. ..?). However, I think a little further, think about the "talent" and you'll realize that's not always about money - it's work, the challenge, the sense of achievement and recognition. Many times, people in power do not agree with me, and insist that employees leave just for money. Rather than cite the studies and surveys to support my point of view, I ask them to forget some cash for a while and tell me what else they have done in this regard. Unfortunately, they realize how they have been stingy as simple as the appreciation of good work.
No doubt the main reason for an employee to work for an organization is money. But the content of work and the work environment plays an important role to play. Whatever may be said, the position of supervisor and managerial skills have an important role in retaining talent. Even an average employee is looking forward to opportunities to perform and when it puts its best foot forward, waiting, encouragement and recognition of their supervisor. Unfortunately, there are very few mentors who provide equal opportunities for employees and those who recognize the achievements are really rare.
A popular quote is that employees do not leave companies, they leave managers. While true, it is perhaps not very obvious because the visibility is only the latest action in which an employee is selected for better pay and benefits elsewhere. So immediate conclusion is that it is leaving money. But if you look in the mirror, you will be able to find the operative site, once it decided to seek opportunities abroad. In most cases, it was because of the attitude of the manager or of such incidents, which prompted her to do so.
And 'only natural that employees who are able to leave, and this' may' is the most important of talented people. Talented people want more than just a good salary. They are looking for excitement of the work, they are still looking for development opportunities and confidence from the boss at work. They want to feel involved and unhealthy work environment is exactly the opposite.
Even a good brand to attract talent, but would not maintain them. Employees may work just enough to have a good manager, in addition to their curriculum vitae, and a company can be found as a gymnasium or a field of experimentation.
Star artists, even if the focus on the job, recruiters, and hunted for rival organizations with attractive offers. As such, regular assessments of their current situation compared to the alternatives, not only in monetary terms but in relation to greater accountability, work environment and growth opportunities. So, if your current company does not value their talent, someone else will.
The bottom line is that while money is important, if not supported by positive corporate culture / environment / support boss and grateful work-life balance, money alone can not keep talent for very long.
If you are an entrepreneur, is responsible for providing this environment. The responsibility is ours, but if you are an employee, the teams are the expectations of you. It may be that they do not deserve to be treated, but nobody prevents you from taking charge of the environment and to offer his circle of influence, what do you want for yourself. The results are there for all to see
