Everyone will agree that health care has gotten out of hand and can easily be referred to a crisis. You can or can not pay, is not a problem eventhe more. A system of nationalized health care will undoubtedly benefit those in need. However, reducing health care costs could also reduce the amount of money used for research and development of new treatments and procedures used for advanced combat and cure diseases such as HIV, heart disease and cancer. These are just three of the many diseases afflicting the American people.
It's easy to forget that money and resources going in search of new medicines or better and the development of new procedures, tests and treatments to combat all diseases kill and stop making progress in all areas of health care . When we focus only on the high cost usually associated with health care, we sometimes forget that much of the money spent is better and more efficient methods that extend the years of our loved ones, which was formerly called incurable diseases.
Looking at the bigger picture of the system of government run health care, result in the need to examine a number of people treated in countries where health care is such a plan already exists. This type of system helps to reduce the quality of care, and also not to distribute funds for research and development in the areas of treatment and screening for deadly diseases.
